I have been trained for Balance Literature, read aloud, stop, pair, share, accountable talk, Guided Reading/Writing.
I have been teaching with Livingston Intermediate since December of 2016,
I have taught Writing, Science, and Math.
I have been in Education for 17 years, but I have been a Certified Teacher for 7 years.
I had been with Splendora ISD for my entire educational years up until October of 2016, We moved closer to Livingston so I wanted to work closer to our new home of residence.
I try to always go to workshops during the summer to stay current with my educational field.
I have been married for 40 years. We had 5 daughters, which are all grown, married and children of their own. We have 12 grandchildren, ages from 7 months to 23 years of age.
4 grandaughters, 8 grandsons.
I have 4 dogs, two outside and two inside dogs, I treat them like my babies, yes, my dogs are spoiled.
I enjoy boat riding, swimming, and fishing with my husband. I love to sew, I enjoy making clothes for my granddaughters, and I love to make blankets. I want to start making stuff animals out of scrap material just to see if I can do it.
When I am not teaching I am out riding on the golf cart looking at the deer in our neighborhood, watching the sun set, and spending time with my family.
I also shop online to look for things for my classroom and for my students, yes, this is a weakness of mine.
